Advanced partnered with a large chemical distribution firm to design, build and install a permanent fall protection system for use over their rail cars.  The existing gangway systems required removal as they were no longer viable given the current rail car configuration and could be used elsewhere.  We engineered the new system to utilize many of the existing foundations from the previous system reducing the project cost by a considerable margin.  Our design consisted of a large freestanding structure with two individual tracks each centered over their respective row of rail cars.  The completed system provides operators continuous fall protection from the moment they ascend a rail car until they are back on the ground.
